4 element 40M OWA Yagi for Sale



This is a full sized yagi.  4 elements on a 48 foot boom.  Boom is 3 inch
OD,  0.125 inch wall, doubled in thickness for the center 8 feet.  I use an
old Telrex boom coupler in addition in the center, which gives a 3.5 inch OD
right at the plate.  The boom strut is 3/8 inch fiberglass rod.  The antenna
is a direct 50 ohm feed.   Each half element is 20 feet of 2 inch OD, 0.125
inch wall, reduced to .875 inch and tapering down to 0.5 inch.  The first
two segments of the tips are double walled.  Elements are trussed with
Phillystran.



All fasteners are stainless or hot dipped galvanized.  Boom plate is
machined for a 2.5 inch mast.  This is a very substantial antenna.  Approximate
weight is 350 lbs.



The antenna is disassembled in western Montana.  Options are pickup or
receive delivery anywhere on route to the Dayton Hamvention.  Buyer needs to
be able to handle 24 foot long tubing lengths.
