Synthetic Textiles makes some nice double braided Dacron rope that would
work.  Rohn 25 is not much fun to stack but 45 or 55 is pretty solid.

Better yet hire a crane if you can.

I'm sure this has been covered at some point in the past, but would you
folks be so kind as to advise me on a good grade of rope, cable, etc. to use
for temporary guys 

while assembling tower sections.  I'm planning on 120 feet in height, and I
don't like things that move around.
