[TowerTalk] Sloping Dipole question

Fwiw, on 80M I have a version of the K1WA: 4 equal-length coax lines, run 
from a select-one-ground-the-rest coax switch next to the rig, out 
underground to 4 sloppers (sic) NE-SE-SW-NW with (R&L-brand) current baluns 
at feedpoints.  In my case, tweaking the line lengths to around 150' gave as 
much as 3-4 S-units F-B and 1-2 S-units F-S, which is enough "good pattern" 
for me.  Dunno what the gain is, if any.  It's still tough to crack 
I-95-corridor pileups from out here in flyover coutry, but it's noticeably 
easier than with a single slopper, high dipole, or delta loop.  Best I've 
been able to do so far with one tower on an acre lot.

Oh, yes, I have had to rethink the mechanics of the parasitically-coupled 
30M wires.  Holding the spacers in place was too kluge-y even for me. I'll 
gbtu real soon now.
