[TowerTalk] Plastic Owl

The plastic owl I have on the tower is readily available from a few catalog
stores, but the one I found was located at an Agway Store. It does move it
head and it also "HOOTS" too. It is operated with a couple of double A
batteries and so far after being up for almost a year, I have yet to replace
the batteries. The one I have, actually has a motion sensor in it, it good
for about 12 feet or so. Works good for Woodpeckers too, which has been one
of the Other Bird problems.
Just my 2 cents worth.

And now for something completely different.

I happened to be casually watching a show on HGTV last weekend. I perked
up when they started showing a plastic owl. Something we all know and love!

Anyway, the upgraded plastic owl makes owl sounds and the head is
motorized so that it swivels back and forth. I don't know how it's powered or any
other technical data. Ought to really scare the pigeons away.

Just the antenna system upgraded that I'm sure we're all looking for!

Maybe we can get a group discount...
