[TowerTalk] US Tower motor -- water leaks in?

I don't think these "farm duty" electric motors are designed to sit
out taking the full force of the elements. I keep my the entire
motor/gearbox/limit switches and drum covered at all times will
plastic sheet.  It takes 10 seconds to put on and hold with bungee
