[TowerTalk] PayPal As a Method of Payment for Tower Parts, etc.

This is my knowledge of Ebay. We have sold LOTS
over the past two years, as I try to slowly shut down a
two way shop.

When listing an item, where it says "decide how you'd like to
be paid" there is a link to add or remove options. If you
click on that, there is the option to require payment on pickup of
item.

So, Ebay obviously does not care if you use paypal or require
payment upon picking up the item. They also must not care
if the item is shipped or picked up.

Its also kind of hard to require paypal on real estate....

Some of the higher dollar items we have sold we require
cash on pickup or certified funds before shipping.

We closed our merchant account - now if someone has to use
a cc we send them to paypal.

I don't know whether you are knowingly misrepresenting Ebay and Paypal or
whether you are simply unaware of their policies.

Items can be sold on Ebay and the seller can accept methods of payment other
than Paypal. Likewise, you can sell items on Ebay and allow the sold item
to be picked up locally. I reviewed this just now under Ebay's methods of
payment section of their general "Help".

In neither instance will your Ebay or Paypal accounts be closed.
