[TowerTalk] Rohn 45G - Swaged or welded sleeves on legs ??

For a short time, Nello manufactured some 45G knockoffs that were swaged. It
didn’t last long, since the swaging was poorly done and the sections had to
be sucked together using a come along. I had to build one of these on a
church rooftop, and really had to try hard not to scream obscenities from
the top of the tower while building it. Hope this thing never has to be
taken apart.

I've never seen 45G with anything but welded sleeves. Don't forget that Rohn
made some tower sold only by Motorola that was just like 20 and 25 but
slightly larger that was referred to as 35.

I am somewhat confused ... I was under the impression that the 45G and 
55G have welded sleeves on legs, and 20G and 25G have swaged legs.  Some 
recent replies suggest that Rohn 45G has swaged legs and look very 
similar to 25G (except for different in size)?  Were there 2 different 
designs over the years?   
  
Not that the tower sections I have are 45G, but I was sure the welded 
sleeves were similar to 45G.  Can anyone shed some light?
