    You've already gotten a bunch of good answers but  this is a little 
different take on things. If you haven't poured yet, you can  order a stronger 
concrete mix (e.g. 5000 psi instead of 2500 psi) and it'll  get you to 2500 
in about 4 days saving you several weeks. The cost difference  is not 
significant.
