[TowerTalk] Anyone Know if posible to lock tower sections on TRI EX

I am no engineer, but I alwyas thought i had a stronger tower when I put it up 3/4 of the way and all the sections overlap. I would take it up to your 50 foot level and then try to lock it at that time. Just a laymans thoughts.

I was wondering I have the TRI EX THD 588. I was wondering since I do not plan on using the total height on the tower would it be possible to lock the bottom section so when the tower is cranked up only the top sections would extend. I only plan to use about 50 ft of the tower. thank input will be appreciated.
