I don't know about the long term maintenance on my newly installed crank-up /
tilt-over towers, but the LM470D is a breeze to do antenna maintenance on...

Im really hesitant on errecting a crank up tower due to constant maintenance. I
had a brainstorm. I can put up a solid 50' free standing tower and purchase a
bucket raising aparatus To get me to the 50' level. Im sure someone had done it
this way at one time, what would the cost be? It would be a pleasure to just sit
it on the bucket and attach it to the mast as a one man job. What do you guys
think of my hair brain scheme?
