That's entirely possible.  Many of the big broadcast TV antennas 
can be at least that heavy ... for example the Dielectric TW12Bx 
antenna which is what WSPA is listed as using in the FCC database 
is 14.500 pounds (75' high) but then, don't believe the reporter 
or me.  see: www.dielectric.com/broadcast/brochures/TW.pdf

I haven't found the specifications on the Dielectric TFU26GBH 
that's specified on the license for their DTV license (CH 53) 
but I have no doubt it is similarly heavy based on years of 
experience with TV broadcast antennas.
