I guess I don't understand why realizing you may have a problem equates to 
giving up.  In many situations you may very well just have to live with the 
problem but it doesn't hurt realize that your signal strength may vary with 
direction.

If you read my note a bit closer you'll see that I suggest how to fix the 
problem: detune the tower.  This is simple and inexpensive.
