[TowerTalk] Command Post

Not sure why this is such a bad thing. Our Local SO
recieved a grant to put up an open 2 meter repeater for
our local ARES/RACES group. Plan is to add a couple
of voters and a link on it.

The administrative LT with the SO got licensed and is
a great operator. The local 911 director wants to get
licensed, and a number of the Highway Patrol radio folks
are getting licensed.

Insofar as your camper, I guess if it is used as a command post,
what would the problem be with getting a grant?

I do recall about 10 years ago I put up a packet node on one
of our towers, only to be YELLED at during one of the HAM
club meetings by a long time ADVANCED CLASS, because I
would not provide him the equipment for him to use that node.

Or the HAMS that want free space on my towers, only to get upset
if I ask for some mowing in exchange for the rent.

At least Marlon, and the Sheriff you mention are wanting to help.
