John,

Try the MARC software. http://www.championradio.com/misc.html

This is very easy to use, you can add the antennas setup you want to
calculate the mast and rotor needed.

Asunto: [TowerTalk] Mast Sizing

Are there any guidelines for sizing masts and wall-thickness based upon how
long and how much weight will be put on them?

I've got a Mosley CL-33M (42 lbs. 6.0 sq. ft.), and a Cushcraft A50-5S
(11 lbs. 2.9 sq. ft.) I'll be putting on a 50ft. tower this summer. I'd
like to determine what sort of steel mast to use. I'm figuring about a 15ft
to 16ft. mast with the CL-33M 1 ft. above the tower and the A50-5S near the
top of the mast.

I'm not afraid to use a formula to size the mast. In fact, that's part of
the fun!
