There is a trap here waiting to bite the unwary. It's called ground 
resistance. Unless
you have a very good ground system under the parasitic element you may 
not get
enough current flow in the element for it to work properly. This doesn't 
happen with
driven arrays as the Rg is figured into the feed system.
