I recently upgraded from a 30 year old lineman's belt to a full harness
with the shock absorber lanyard. My research indicated the industry
favorite seems to be the DBI-Sala Exofit-XP. It is very comfortable and
not as heavy as I expected. The seat with the 2 D rings is removable for
the times when it is not needed. The best price I found was Coast 2
Coast safety on e-Bay.
