[TowerTalk] Pier pin on Rotating Tower

Phil, if the rotator is located at the first guy level, the pier pin base  
or concrete base is ok. In this case, you might consider using the six guy 
torq  assembly at the first guy level to help absorb the twisting force there.
 
If you locate the rotator near ground level as is often done, the pier pin  
base is not an option unless you include a set of guys near the ground and 
who  wants to do that?
