[TowerTalk] Cutting tubing

I needed to cut off a piece of 2” x ½” walled 4130 tubing. Tried a Sawzall
with a diamond encrusted blade with cutting fluid. That was pretty much
useless. Made only a small cut after several minutes

 

Used a 4” composite metal edge cutting blade in a 4” portable grinder. It
worked quite well and did not take long. By working around the tubing
instead of cutting though from only one side I minimized any kickback.
Didn’t even use up one blade.
