You could pay a locater service a few hundred to come and locate it, buy a
$3,000 gadget or get a metal rod and push it in the ground around where you
think it is until you feel the characteristic scrape against PVC. Once you
find it in two places, try a place exactly between the two - you'll
establish the line and then all will become clear.
