Tnx for all the suggestions guys. Think if I can't find someone  with a detector I'll try  the rental places.
Poking  for the PVC  seems like an idea except....in NW TN we've had 6 weeks with no rain & 100 F temps every day. Today it's only 96 F. I bet bullets would bounce off the ground here HI!! I had a big truck load of dirt delivered & the truck left zero indents in the yard. Couldn't even see where he drove.  My grass is like walking on potato chips!
