Rather than all of the coring and hammerdrilling, just buy a 3" PVC conduit 
 90 and a little pipe. Give it to the concrete guys while they are forming 
up the  basement walls and have it poured into the new wall above the ground 
line. Tape  off the ends well with duct tape to keep it clear of concrete 
and have them slip  it down into the forms.
