Look really hard at the HyGain AV-640. I have been using one for 5 years. It 
is a winner !!!
3/8 wave vertical which gives low angle radiation.
No radials.
You can mount it 7 ft above ground for counterpoises to clear the walking 
space.
I have 308 countries from it.
