[TowerTalk] External Receive Antenna Switch

DX Engineering has a RTR-1 Receive Antenna Interface for Transceivers. I
noticed that one was being offered in the current ARRL On-Line Auction which
also had the link to the QST Review of the RTR-1   Ken K5RG

I would like to add an external Receive Antenna to an older radio that does
not have a separate Receive Antenna input.
The crude way would be another T/R relay but that has inherent problems.

Anyone know if something more exotic exists ?
