[TowerTalk] Fwd: Plastic Owls

I live in a neighborhood with lots of expensive boats and owners who
will do everything to keep them pristine. I've seen plastic owls,
snakes, mirrors, those big circle "eyes" and even had a neighbor who
would shoot the mourning doves with a BB gun and hang their carcasses
from a tree.

None of that works. Most of the owls around here are faded from the
sun and have bird poop all over them.

What DOES work is a garden hose. Wash off the bird poop and spray any
nests you might see in the early stages.
