[TowerTalk] 80-m. Inverted Vee vs. Dipole Performance

 I went to a lot of trouble to put up an 80 meter dipole at 55 feet,
thinking it would work better than an inverted vee.  In terms of
DX pileups, both antennas were poor performing cloud warmers.
When you get up to a substantial height like 100 feet, the
dipole will have more rejection off the ends and may receive
a little better.  It will then be able to compare to a good vertical
for transmit purposes.
