[TowerTalk] Help with fixing a leaning tower (NOT Pisa)

With a small 52' crankup, you can probably live with quite a bit of lean.
The main problem is whether it can still go up and down without binding.

The additional stress on the tower from leaning a little, is minor compared to
the design target wind load.

20" of lean at the top (60' with mast) would translate to 1" of lean at the base
between the ends of a 3' level.

How much lean do you have at the base (with a 3' level or ??)

Since the lean is linear from bottom to top, the additional friction at the two
overlapped tower section joints shouldn't be so bad...i.e. the bottom joint is
only seeing like 2/3 of the total lean.

if the lean at the top is more than 20" now, after fixing it once..you probably
have some serious problem that shouldn't be jury rigged? Is it on top of a spring?
