[TowerTalk] Info Needed on Yaesu G-2800SDX

Best bet is to start measuring voltages with the rotator disconnected.
There should be one pin that is grounded to the chassis, that is one end of
the indicator pot. From that one find the pin that has 6v on it, that is
the other end of the pot. Now press the rocker switch one way or the other
and measure the voltage from each of the pins to ground, 2 of the pins that
are left should have none or a very low voltage, the two motor outputs
should have 12v or so to ground, and 12-24v between them depending on the
speed setting. Now take a 5kohm resistor or so and jumper one at a time
from those pins to the 6v and ground pins... One of the pins should cause
the dial pointer to spin, the other won't do anything perceptible, that one
is the slowdown input.
