Solved my problem...I drilled/cleaned up the ends of the mating tube with q
3/4" bit and ALL is well.

I'm in the process of assembling one and am having issues with the tips
fitting/sliding into it's mating piece. The tip only goes in a few inches
before binding. I see no burrs or such in the tube.

Has anyone assmbled one of these recently? You can repsond off list...
