[TowerTalk] Free standing dipole support

Rick is looking for an inexpensive, free standing, dipole support...... if there is such a thing <GRIN> 

Visit the electrical or fencing department of your local Big Box store. Should be able to find some galvanized pipe of the thin walled type that should work. The "EMT" is 10' lengths. Top rails for fencing are sometimes found in 20' lengths, but it has a seam that can sometimes split if to much side force is applied. There is always a long 4x4 with a pulley at the top . Or a short, treated 4x4 with the pipe bolted to it...... just remember to keep it safe. And as always, YMMV.
