My wife used to work for an electronic parts distributor, whose motto was "BUY
AMERICAN!" They put a HUGE banner on the side of their building to this effect.
Then somebody noticed that the TI and Fairchild etc. parts were made in Honduras,
Singapore, Taiwan, etc. The banner came down and a HUGE US flag went up
instead. (I liked that.)

The professor of our American history class bought a new car. A class member said
he was in the market for a new one, too, but he didn't want a foreign car. He wanted
to "Buy American". Toyota Camry was being made in Kentucky, while some
Chevy's were made in Canada, and Fords were from Mexico, with brakes from
Brazil, etc. etc.

Conclusion. It doesn't much matter... you can't 'buy American' or Brazilian, or
English, or ....

And most of those cars had antennas: there's the link to this reflector's purpose. My
apologies. 8-)
