     FWIW:  I have my D40 about 11 feet above my Skyhawk which is eerily 
similar in design to the open sleeve feeds of F12 Yagis.  The elements of 
both antennas are parallel with no adverse effects, i.e., odd-behaving SWR 
curves on either antenna.
