[TowerTalk] Damaged Cushcraft

Hello all

A friend of mine had an accident with his tilt-over tower and damaged his
Cushcraft MA5B. He's asked me to look at making some repairs.

I can straighten or replace the aluminium parts where necessary, but looking
over the various fittings I have noticed that some of the stainless U bolts
have nuts which have seized. This will make it difficult to put back
together correctly.

I'd like to replace like for like which means importing some stainless U
bolts with the correct threads, like 1/4-20 and 5/16-18. Some of the U bolts
have long legs because they pass round the boom and through the elements.

I'm seeking suggestions for sources of these U bolts please ?

Has anyone had success in obtaining spares from Cushcraft (MFJ) ?
