You should have received the rotor, 16 bolts and washers, 125' cable with connectors attached, control box and manual. They originally did not come with the "pin" bolt.

The SDX was the first in the 2800 series (previous was the 2700). The current model is the 2800DXA. I do not use the absorber as I have a very heavy thrust bearing on top. IMHO, the shock absorber is useless but YMMV. Consider augmenting with Rotor-EZ only if you desire computer control. This rotor has a preset feature which will allow you to "point and shoot." Last but not least, do not over tighten the mast bolts (this is covered in the manual). I think that you will enjoy it especially with the "ramp down" feature. Have fun.

If u have purchased a new sealed box of a Yaesu G-2800SDX rotor, please tell me
 
1.  What is the complete list of what comes standard in the box, specifically any 6-wire cable, and any stainless bolts???
 
2.  What does the SDX indicate, mean?
 
3.  Anyone used the GA-3000 Tower Shock Absorber Joint???
 
4.  Any other tips in using this rotor???
