Doug: Quite a few people have solved that problem as follows.
1. Install a high quality WORM DRIVE manual winch.
2. Remove the handle and drive the shaft with a husky, variable speed,
reversible drill. There is information , with pictures, in the TT archive on
how to adapt the crank shaft to the drill.
