[TowerTalk] 2 1/4" Galvanized U-bolts?

DX Engineering has some nice U-bolt/saddle clamps. What is not mentioned is the saddle clamp MUST be used on a flat surface or customer supplied backing plate. Why not sell the backing plate with it, you can choose not to use it. But the u-bolts are first class stainless steel and should last a long time. The website has a complete list of sizes
