     Allow me to relate a positive experience I recently had in dealing with MFJ customer service.  Last week I received a 15A switcher PS from MFJ, their model 4115.  I bought it for EmComm use with my FT-857 mobile rig.  

     Bottom line is that I spoke with Bob at MFJ tech support and he gave me a few suggestions on how to prevent the 4115 from shutting down in the presence of even weak 6M mobile TX sigs.  Essentially, I moved my mobile antenna to a mag mount farther away from the 4115 and all is well.  The troubling config won't occur in a real EmComm scenario.  Bob suggested I could return the 4115 to MFJ for replacement if moving the mobile antenna didn't help.

     I appreciated Bob's help and easy access.  I waited only a few minutes on hold until he came on line with me.

P.S.  I like the MFJ4115 switcher for its low weight and quiet operation.
