I think the thrust bearing subject is about the top section of ROHN 25G towers. My mast was 1.5" pipe with a sink tailpiece split spiral like and applied to the mast. Wheel bearing grease and a rubber boot. Worked very well supporting a CUBEX 5B 2L quad. I sold the quad and rotor and gave the tower away.
