Why not buy it from U.S. Tower, which is in California...?

When I've bought stuff from them, I rented a trailer and visited the
plant near Fresno, and picked them up myself.  "Shipping cost" was a
tank of gasoline and a $39 rental.

I got a quote from Texas Towers on a US Towers MA-40 telescoping mast.
The
price $1,480.  The shipping to Tampa from California...$1,998 !!!
