Hello Jim,

I am not sure what model number you are asking about, however here is a
YouTube video about the most popular one. The rotor calibration is based on
calibrating rotation time - that is how they do all the functions with only
3 wires.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Channel master operation?

I've got a Channel Master to rotate my Hexbeam. It has only three wires that
control it. Anyone know how this functions to turn and indicate direction
with only three wires?

It has a wallwart that provides power to the control unit that is 18VAC
output. Any idea of the signal levels on the lines? I was going to buy some
TVS diodes for protection but want to make sure I get ones with proper
breakdown voltage.

I can always tear it down myself and scope it out but it would be nice to
avoid if someone had already done so.

Thanks!
