[TowerTalk] 80 meter beam ID...

I'm helping a local Ham who is disabled with a degenerative brain problem
that affects his memory. His station was destroyed by lightning last Spring
and we have been slowly getting it back into operation. His shack
electrical wiring had the insulation melted off the wire!

In any event, he had a 80 meter beam that has been on the ground for several
years. He can't locate the manual for it and isn't sure of the model. He
says it is a "telerex" (Telrex?) 2 element 80 meter beam. It has a
switching network on it for low/high end of band switching and the elements
used a copper wire "backstay" to help support the elements and to
electrically extend them. Hopefully someone can ID the beam from that
information and I can find a manual for it. As soon as we get it clear of
the saw briars and poison ivy, I can take some pictures of the disassembled
beam.

Any help with ID and finding a manual is appreciated. We are putting it on
top of 130' (might go to 150' if it will improve the 80 meter performance)
of Rohn 55 and turning it with a prop-pitch motor. Any comments on the
height, etc. are also appreciated.
