Maybe it's a type, but VEC's are volunteen exam coordinators. I wouldn't expect that pool to be a source of expertise in this area.

I am looking for a PE, who is licensed in South Carolina, to design a 70 foot guyed tower that will support 20 sq ft of antenna load at a 3-second gust of 130 MPH.  Please let me know if you can help me (for pay, of
course) or if you know someone who meets these requirements. (I have tried all of the VEC's listed at ARRL for SC, and no one has even bothered to respond to my email.)
