[TowerTalk] Attic or outside cable run - safety issues regarding lightning?

If you can do proper surge protection and grounding at the point where it
enters the attic, it should be a non-issue. Otherwise, I'd carry the cables
down to the base of the tower, do the surge protection there, and then
worry about getting the cables where they're supposed to go.
