The original Telrex control box was about 12"x12"x4" and had a
faceplate which was a large, circular dial, some of which had an
azimuthal view of the Earth, centered on Middle USA. Most were just a
big dial.
Photos can be seen in the old Telrex advertisements in 1950-1960 era QSTs.
