My experience as well some years back...I used a Radio Works 'California 
Windom 160' at 120 ft up that was most assuredly flat. The center section is 
also supposed to be vertical from what I remembered and when one or both of 
these elements is compromised so is the performance as I recall.  - Mike

An OCF antenna works best if the major part of the wire is horizontal.
That's at least my experience.

The OCF is the best option for my limited real estate. Center feed would not
fit! Other option would be end-fed.
