[TowerTalk] 1/4 height vertical for 600 meters? 160?

I wonder if anyone has considered building Breakall et al's design for a
massively shortened vertical antenna - 0.05 wavelengths, according to
the technical paper at
http://www.kintronic.com/resources/technicalPapers/2.pdf. I originally
thought about it for 160, but it seems even more of a natural for 600
meters. Granted, 4x 30-meter verticals would be a substantial effort,
but it would ;probably radiate a lot better than the inefficient short
designs we'd be using otherwise.
