Although the main topic of this message was the recent DXpedition, I
though the TowerTalk crew might be interested in the article showing how
a Rohn 55 was upgraded to a rotating tower, in place, by one man! That
article starts on page 30 of the current Gray Line Report newsletter
(March 2012).

The Twin Cities DX Association (www.tcdxa.org) in Minnesota has helped
sponsor many DXpeditions over the years. Membership is open to anyone
interested in supporting their mission of "*Dollars for DX*". Visit the
website for details about all their sponsorships and activities.

While you're there, visit the publication page:
http://www.tcdxa.org/newsletter.html#newsletter where you will find all
the issues of their Gray Line Report.

The current newsletter includes an interview with two members of the
recent HKØNA team. The Malpelo Island crew and set a new record of
190,000+ QSOs from a "tent and generator" DXpedition. Both Ralph Fedor -
KØIR and Glenn Johnson - WØGJ provide a glimpse into the extreme
conditions they found during their most recent adventure.

You might also be interested in seeing how an existing Rohn 55 tower is
converted into a rotating tower without having to take it down and
reinstall it from scratch. This was a "in place" conversion done solo!

The newsletter is in full color, downloadable in PDF format and has lots
of photos. Congratulations also go to the Gray Line editorial team who
have set a new record with this 47-page edition!
