Why would you want to?  They are great bug eaters and cause little problems. 
You can install bat houses and they will eventually start living in them. Do 
you have problems with them in your attic? If so, contact a professional 
(Critter Getter). They can get them out and plug up the places the bats are 
getting into.

You can collect the bat droppings (guano) and it makes wonderful fertilizer.
