Tractor Supply, Agway, others have 17 ga aluminum fence wire.

Dipoles were up for years. One local made open wire feeders using cut 
chunks of the fiberglass,36" fence spreaders and the wire.

Worked fine. TS even has spring thingys to clip the wire to the spreaders.

SS bolts, etc to make connections.
