[TowerTalk] Lightning protection and control wires

I have to wonder, though - if the protector will pass everything below 
82 VDC, how many solid state devices do you have in your shack that will 
be damaged?

I disconnect every line coming into my shack - coax, rotators, relay 
switches, etc.  A few years ago I took a direct hit on the tower that 
friend everything out there, but sustained no damage in the shack.
