When a delta loop is designed for a particular band, and fed in the corner, it is not in an optimum configuration. They should be fed 1/4 wave length from the apex and then will act as a pair of phased verticals. See ON4UN's Top Band DXing book for a complete description or W4RNL's excellent series on this type of antenna. The loop can also be fed at the apex or in the middle of the bottom and then it will exhibit horizontal polarization.
